What's Your Love Story


I read this on one of the blogs I like to read and thought it was only appropriate for today!


1. How long have you and your significant other been together?
Branson and I have been together for 9 years!

2. How did you meet? {What's your "love" story?}
Branson and I first met at our county fair, he had a girlfriend and I had just broken up with my boyfriend. My bestfriend went to his school, so they new each other. His girlfriend at the time introduced us that night and I could NOT quit thinking about him.. We were both only in High School, but after he became my "official" boyfriend I never dated another person! We were inseprable from then on, he was the LOVE of my life.. Some say we didnt know what love meant or we wasted all of those years. I could not imagine my life without him! We have been through boot camp, living 6 1/2 hours apart, deployment, ETC!
   To this day, I could never imagine my life without him!!

3. If married, how long have you been married?
5 years!!

4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?
We got married at a church, medium sized wedding. Just close family and friends!

5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Do share!

He calls me: Trixie.. (still dont know why, but he thinks its funny!) lol  & Mama
I call him: Brans & Daddy
and then of course, Babe & Honey

6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.

1. His personality, he's crazy and fun all the time.. He can be a complete and total idiot & he doesnt care whos around as long as he is making me or the boys laugh and I love that about him!
I always know I can have a good time with him no matter what!

2.His heart. Branson is the most selfless person I know... He will drop everything he is doing to help or do for us or anyone else. He loves to help and put other before him. Ive always loved that about him.

3.How much he loves God! I couldnt thank God enough for giving me a man who seeks after the will of God and how courageous he is for our family!

7. Tell us how he proposed? Ideal proposal?
Branson proposed to me on a weekend in Fort Smith, while he was home visiting! He was so nervous and kept dropping hints left and right.. I totally knew something was coming and to this day is AWFUL at keeping stuff from me! ;)

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?
We normally dont do "gifts" on Valentines Day.. I could care less about any of that stuff.. He has always wrote me letters or a card! At the end of the day, the things that come from his heart, mean so much more to me than the things that are bought with money!

9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?
Umm.. THE BEACH! Of course... We dont live anywhere near the beach though, so just staying home in our pjs watching our favorite movie is perfect for me! (which is what we are doing tonight!)

10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?
Hopefully, lord willing... I would love to go on a mission trip with him! Serving & loving others while ministering to them about the love of Christ!

11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day.
Nothing planned that I know of... He works late and I plan to watch our favorite movie after the boys are in bed!

12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day?

No.. Just time with HIM! :) Our life is so fast pace right now, just some time to relax and breath would be NICE!

13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love.

Be patient, Give, and Love with all your heart. Its so hard for us to get caught up in everyday life that we forget how important our spouse really is.. or how we made them feel when we first met. I want to feel that love EVERY SINGLE DAY..
