Brylen is 2!

Our sweet boy turned 2 years old yesterday!

I really cant believe how fast time is flying by!

Brylen changed our lives in more ways than I could have imagined as soon as he came into this world and is still doing it every day. Brylen decided to come into this world a month to the day early.. He then spent his first 2 weeks in NICU, for a couple of days our sweet boy was struggling and his oxygen was turned up as high as it could go. We had to make a couple of tough decisions & at one point his doctor had no "good news" for us. We had to completely let go and give it to the ultimate healer! In doing that and constantly praying, a few loonngg days later our sweet boy was finally taken off his breathing ventilator, feeding tube and his picc line came out. I know Brylen could have been much worse, but knowing your child is sick and having to go through any of that is tough! 

In those 2 weeks, our lives changed forever... We learned a patience we had never known, we had more faith then I had ever had, we were brought closer together as a couple and we became parents AGAIN! :)

Two years later our sweet "Brylee" is now a wild and crazy toddler! He has never again had any major medical problems & just like the day he was born, he is still lacking in the patience department! ;)

Brylen is a very strong willed, independent, soft hearted, stubborn, mischievous, loving, active little boy! We thank God for him every single day and could not imagine our lives without him! Ive told Branson before, I am SO glad I didnt have a girl like id hoped for.. He is the sweetest little 2 year old I know and God knew we needed him in our lives and would be the perfect addition to our family!

• loves to "read" and look through books
• loves to ask "What?" when anyone says anything to anyone..
• loves to wrestle with his brother, rather Bray wants to or not!
• LOVES to eat.. this boy can put away his food & his brothers left overs. ha!
• Loves to go "Bye-Bye"
• Still lovin' his "Pappy" ..pacifers. He carries as many as he can old when he is playing around the house. We are slowly (i cant stress that word enough) trying to take them away. :(
• He LOVES to sing and count. over and over annnd over again.
• Almost officially potty trained! He has pretty much decided himself he didnt want to wear a diaper anymore! We still put one on him at night just in case, but he has been waking up dry!
• repeats everything we say
• loves to make people laugh! he will do silly things over and over again if someone laughs at him!
• Still sleeping in his own bed.. He is also still in his crib, im not ready to give him that independence yet! :)
• still isnt talking in sentences but can say two-three words together.
